Blue Apple Theatre presents our summer production

Treasure Island

An historical adventure of buccaneers and buried gold based on the novel by Robert Louis Stevenson

at Theatre Royal Winchester

Wednesday 10th June 2025

7.30pm

All our productions have live captioning projected on a screen above the stage.

This makes it easier for the audience to read while watching the performance.

Blue Apple’s Treasure Island is a fresh take on the classic tale. Old Jim Hawkins still visits The Admiral, the inn he used to run with his parents as a boy. And once a year, on the anniversary of those original events, he retells his dramatic story with the drinkers in the pub helping the action along by each taking a part in the story. An exercise in raw storytelling, the audience will be whisked from Bristol to that faraway island with treasure buried somewhere on it, and home again, all in time for last orders.
