Exciting drama workshop at Alton College!
Blue Apple Theatre recently ran a special drama workshop at Alton College. On 8 November 14 students from the Alton College Expressions course attended the workshop to help them create a drama piece for their Christmas Show. Expressions is a Performing Arts course for young people with SEND (special educational needs and disabilities).
Rebecca Godden and James Benfield from Blue Apple led the workshop. They came up with a fun idea inspired by the "12 Days of Christmas" song. Everyone used their bodies, voices, and acting skills to bring the story to life.
The workshop was all about making sure everyone could join in, express themselves and have a great time. Blue Apple Theatre believes in showing how amazing everyone can be, especially those who have a learning disability.
Now, the students are all set to put on a wonderful Christmas Show, shine bright and show everyone just how fantastic they are!
