Celebrating performer success in Learning Disability Week

Mencap’s annual campaign #LearningDisabilityWeek is celebrated this year from 20-26 June. The week aims to make sure the world hears what life is like if you have a learning disability. So we are delighted to celebrate #LearningDisabilityWeek by sharing the news that Blue Apple performer Isla Hall has a leading role in Netflix’s popular children’s TV series Action Pack Series 2.
Action Pack is a preschool computer animated children's streaming television series developed by Shea Fontana for Netflix. Created by William Harper, the series premiered on January 4, 2022. The series follows the Action Pack, a quartet of superheroes-in-training taught by their teacher Mr. Ernesto and his robotic dog Plunky. Each episode is just under 30 minutes.
Action Pack Season 2 has now been released on Netflix. Isla Hall plays Eon, a new superhero with Down Syndrome! Watch Season 2 Episode 4 (make sure the audio is set to British English to hear Isla, otherwise you will hear the US talent) called Chores Galore / Play Time 28m. With no baddies causing problems, the team helps everyone with their chores. Recess lasts longer with new pal Eon and her power to pause time.

Isla is one of Blue Apple’s younger performers. A pupil of Alton College she then took part in the Blue Apple online Summer School during lockdown in 2020 and enjoyed it so much that she signed up for the Blue Apple Stage Company where she has gone from strength to strength and gained confidence.
